Homestay:
US$140 + 12% IVA tax* per week – 7 nights. Includes 3 daily meals, private room and the opportunity to practice your Spanish! Most rooms also have private bathroom.

10% off the price for homestay if you book 2 weeks or more!

*IMPORTANT NOTE:
IVA tax (12%) charged for accommodation services can be claimed back by foreigners when presenting the invoice (s) for $50 dollars or more, as per government decree from May/28/2010. However, there is still no confirmation of how this process will work or where foreigners can claim back the tax. We await for further notice. For the moment, as Cuenca Language School (Legal name for Simon Bolivar Spanish School in Cuenca) we are obliged to follow the law and must charge 12% to homestay service.

Hostel/hotel:
Hostal La Castellana: $14.00 USD per person per night. $28 USD for a double room. Rates include: Wireless Internet in every room, taxes and breakfast.

Posada del Angel Hostel: $34.00 USD per person in a single room. $49 USD for a double room. Rates include: Internet access, Taxes and breakfast.
